Composite piece for class. For this piece I really wanted to apply a bunch of techniques that I had seen in a few magazines but I couldn’t quite pull them off or figure out a way to pull them off. I’m a bit displeased with the way that the man blends into the background. He seems to be a bit in front of the image. The piece overall went well in my opinion. insert pride here

I’m actually very disappointed with how this project turned out. Quite a few things went wrong with it. The shadow is not very well done and the wheels on the car should be lowered because there’s no weight on them if they’re being lifted. I’m very disappointed because this is obviously amateur work.
If I had to do this project again I’d change the wardrobe and location for the pictures. I’d also take a picture of a car on a lift instead of one that was parked in a nearby parking lot. I’d also like to do some effects on the ‘superhero’ to make him look more fantastic.
A piece that I did for digital imaging as well. It’s an old drawing that I needed to paint in an achromatic color scheme.

A piece of homework done for Digital Imaging class. Uhh still kinda new at digital painting but I’m pretty satisfied with how this turned out. Background was kinda crappy but I’ll do it over some day.

This sequence appealed to me because of the usefulness of the knife and how well it’s served me since I’ve had it. I take it with me almost everywhere I go and it’s become a part of my daily routine to check that it’s in my pocket every few minutes. The knife itself means a great deal to me since it reminds me of home and the family I left behind.
I decided to take pictures of the knife displaying the ways that I most often use it as well as what it looks like when fully opened. The first image(from left to right) shows how it normally is since I carry it around it my pocket almost all the time. The second is a part that I use semi-frequently, the saw, I only use it when I’m working on projects, in the image I used it to carve a groove into the underside of a table. The third image shows how I normally use the knife to sharpen my pencils both in and out of class to conserve led. The fourth image displays the long blade that I normally use for cutting… things… like… paper. The fifth and final image shows almost all the tools that the knife comes with.
